CCSC recognizes the importance of protecting the privacy of all information provided by users of ccschouston.org. We created the following policy guidelines with a fundamental respect for our users’ right to privacy to guide our relationships with our users.
At your request, and at any time, we will remove you from our mailing list. We will do this by automatic means or by human intervention if needed.
Use of Information for Online and Offline Donations
The CCSC online donation process uses industry-standard SSL-encryption to protect data transmissions from a secure third party site.
Our donation form requires users to give us contact information that may include names, email address, interests, and similar information. This information is stored in our database and used for the CCSC acknowledgements and mailing lists. We do not store sensitive information for our donors, such as credit card or social security numbers.
As a means of recognizing support, we often publish names of our donors in Connections, the CCSC quarterly newsletter. If you prefer that your name not be published, please contact our office.
We never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online or offline in ways unrelated to the ones described above, without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit unrelated uses.
We will not sell, trade or give away the names, email addresses, or contact information of our subscribers or anyone else with whom we correspond without their permission.
In general, we will do our best to make all our correspondence reflect the permission and consent you have given us.
