CCSC seeks Temporary Part-Time Program Coordinator for Professional Caregiver Training Pilot
Christian Community Service Center is a social service agency supported by 39 churches in central/southwest Houston. Our aim is to alleviate the effects of poverty.
The Professional Home Caregiver Training Program Coordinator is a temporary (6 months: July-December 2020) part-time (28 hours per week) position responsible for managing the new Professional Home Caregiver Vocational Training Pilot Program and teaching and facilitating all sessions. Upon the completion of the Pilot program, there may be opportunity for hire into a full-time permanent position in 2021.
Interested applicants should have knowledge of issues impacting older adults and their caregivers and strong public speaking and written communication skills. Experience working in home care and/or other settings that serve older adults is preferred. Bachelor’s Degree, plus a minimum of 2 years’ experience in non-profit, healthcare, social service, or similar field is required. Additional education may substitute for a portion of experience requirement.
