Christian Community Service Center is a social service agency supported by 40 churches in central/southwest Houston. Our aim is to alleviate the effects of poverty. We are currently searching for two professionals to join our staff in part-time positions.
CCSC seeks Assistant Program Manager, Emergency Services-Central (part-time)
Emergency Services was created to meet the basic needs of clients in crisis (offerings include food, clothing, hygiene items, referrals to other agencies, and emergency payment for rent, utilities and medical).
The Assistant Program Manager helps oversee service delivery to clients and ensures effective operations through volunteer management and coordination of resources and materials. This position involves 25 hours weekly; 2 Saturdays per month are included.
Program and/or volunteer management experience, solid organization skills, a passion for service, demonstrated leadership and computer proficiency are required for consideration. College degree, Spanish fluency and database experience are strongly preferred.

CCSC seeks Development Assistant
We are currently searching for a part-time staff member to join our team and work closely with the Development Director to increase the organization’s resources.
• Excellent skills in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point.
• Publisher skills a plus.
• Type at least 50 words per minute.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• High-degree of accuracy and quality control.
• Commitment to confidentiality.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Professional demeanor.
• Able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds from time to time.
Minimum 2 years in a similar position, preferably in a non-profit environment.
High School diploma required.
College degree or some college preferred.
